Peer Support Groups

Support for LGBTQIA+ Youth

Our most popular youth services are our Hatch Youth peer support groups, where everyone is welcomed with open arms! Our peer support groups stand as the heart of our services, offering a safe and inclusive space for young individuals. Led by our dedicated Hatch staff and trained volunteer facilitators, these groups provide a blend of social connections, educational sessions, and small group discussions.

Here, youth not only find support but also get to connect with inspiring role models and fellow peers who understand their journey. From special projects to exciting events like Hatch Prom and marching in the annual Pride Houston 365 Parade, there’s always something meaningful to engage in. And the best part? There are absolutely no costs attached to any of our activities because we believe in making support and belonging accessible to all.

Come join us at Hatch Youth, where you can be yourself, thrive, and celebrate your unique identity in a nurturing environment. We can’t wait to welcome you into our family!

Just a friendly reminder: while our peer support groups offer a nurturing space, they are not group therapy sessions and should not replace professional counseling. If you are interested in exploring counseling options for youth, feel free to reach out to the Montrose Center through our main number (713) 529-0037 or visit our Become a Client page for more information. Your well-being is our priority!
