HIV Counseling

A safe space to gain knowledge, assistance and/or treatment for your overall wellness.

The Montrose Center offers individual, couples/family and group counseling for those whose lives have been affected by HIV Services are provided by licensed master’s level therapists who have experience, sensitivity and current knowledge regarding HIV and related issues.

Group therapy is recommended if you are living with HIV, as support from the group helps to alleviate commonly shared feelings and experiences. Members find they are not alone, and become a source hope and strength for one another.

Counseling services are available to all HIV+ persons at the Center. Homebound or hospital-bound persons with AIDS may arrange for in-home private counseling sessions.

How much does it cost?

We work with what you have. The Center accepts all insurance, including Medicare/Medicaid. Discounted fees are offered if you have no insurance and/or limited means. You may also qualify for grant subsidies to cover all or a portion of fees and co-payments based on your income. The bottom line is this:  Cost does not have to be a barrier to getting the care you need!  Talk to us before making that decision.
