We currently hold three monthly workshops series, on different topics each month, and an online weekly wellness event. Please visit our events page on Facebook to find out what the specific topics are each month. All of our events and workshops are free and open to all to join. Please note that all LHI events are nonjudgmental spaces that are affirming of the LGBTQ+ community, people of color (POC), people with disabilities, and people with all types of relationship dynamics.

Community Dialogue

Meets every 2nd Wednesday of the month, from 6 – 8pm.

Community Dialogue is a workshop series about living at the intersections of multiple de-centered identities and the complexities of that space. Come for the QTPOC community, stay for the discussion around queer identity, intersectionality, structural barriers, and more!

Meets every 3rd Wednesday of the month, from 6 – 8pm.

The LGBTQ+ Health workshop is a workshop series that is designed to give the LGBTQ+ community the health information that they need and care about from a queer and trans lens.

PUSSY (A Positive Understanding of Sex, Sensuality, and Yourself)

Meets every 4th Wednesday of the month, from 6 – 8pm.

PUSSY (A Positive Understanding of Sex, Sensuality, and Yourself) is a workshop series focusing on sexual health! We want to empower all people to reach a better understanding of sexual health and sexuality outside of stigma and shame, and we will discuss the very real ways in which sex relates to our identities, cultures, and interpersonal relationships.

Mindful Mondays

Meets every Monday from 6 – 6:30pm.

Start your week off with a Mindful Monday! We will be hosting a 30 minute guided meditation every week to help you center, ground, relax, and destress! Each week we will hold a different guided meditation and practice various mindfulness skills together from 6-6:30 pm.
There’s no pressure to be on camera. Just tune in, listen, and relax with the other members of the LHI community!
