We Make a Great Team

We have always worked closely with Legacy Community Health Services since its formation as Montrose Clinic in 1978 and incorporation in 1981. Both of us began with a driving commitment to take care of the physical and mental health needs of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender communities, later expanding services for those living with HIV/AIDS. As we have grown, they have grown, and together we are collaborating on a number of projects, including most recently, the EMBody Program.

Montrose Counseling Center Executive Director Ann J. Robison, PhD, is very proud of the ongoing relationship we have with Legacy and its Executive Director, Katy Caldwell. We recently forged another joint project. On March 1, MCC began providing the Medical Case Management and Service Linkage services to Legacy’s patients.

“We are very excited about this new structure and have welcomed Legacy’s case managers to the MCC family,” said Robison. Legacy’s case management team are now MCC employees and work under our professional direction and supervision, although they will maintain their offices at Legacy’s Montrose Clinic at 1415 California Avenue. Both agencies look forward to our continued relationship and having more joint projects that expand our quality services to the community.
