$120K Raised, 550+ Guests: Inside June 7’s Record-Breaking Pride Brunch

On June 7, 2026, 550 guests gathered at Puttery for the Montrose Center’s sold-out 8th Annual Pride Brunch. This year’s event raised more than $120,000 in support of Houston’s LGBTQ+ center, funding LGBTQ-affirming youth and senior support, behavioral health care, gender-affirming services, HIV support, community-building activities and spaces, and so much more.

Huge thanks to the members of our host committee for bringing such a wonderful crowd and hosting them at the event: Robert Wallace & Andrew McCleary, Kimberly & Cassie Butler-White, Marvin Fuentes & Juan Fernando Lerma, and Corey S. Scranton. All funds were donated in loving memory of host Robert’s uncle, Mike Ralph, who passed away in 1991 during the height of the AIDS epidemic.

Our new venue Puttery offered guests two floors of lounges, bars, and themed mini-golf courses. DJ Chad Guidry kept the energy high with incredible music, and Rachel Bface added extra excitement and fabulosity to the crowd. Houston’s own Silky Nutmeg Ganache, star of RuPaul’s Drag Race and All Stars, blew away guests with her performances and warmth.
