Men Surviving Violence – Supportive Therapy Group
Day: Monday
Time: 6:00-7:30 p.m.
This is an open-ended support group for gay, bisexual and/or transgender (FtM) men who have experienced domestic or intimate partner violence, sexual assault or have been targeted for a hate/bias crime, whether as an adult or a child. Group discussions focus primarily upon trauma recovery, and the impact of violence on relationships, sexuality, career, education and daily functioning.
New participants must complete a brief intake assessment and meet with the group facilitator prior to joining, and must have already some experience in addressing trauma issues in individual therapy or be in the process of doing so.
