By now, everyone last one of you has seen images of the terrorism in Charlottesville, VA this past weekend. As the LGBTQ Community Center, we recognize that combating racism and equality for all walks of life is a vital part of our mission. We will continue provide spaces that are safe and affirming and urge members of our community to do the same. Our thoughts go out to all the victims, family and friends.
We must stand together against hatred and denounce the work of white supremacist terrorist, because combating racism is an LGBTQ+ issue.
