Lakeia Spady is on her way to Washington! Congratulations are in order for the HATCH participant who will receive the Richard L. Schlegel National Legion of Honor at an awards ceremony and reception at American University. Lakeia was chosen in the category of Emerging Activist in recognition of her “outstanding contributions to gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender communities.” Lakeia is one of the hosts of the HATCH segment on KPFT 90.1’s After Hours radio program.
