Thank you for your interest in being a part of Empowering Our Future on April 26! We are so excited to have you join what’s sure to be an unforgettable night filled with fun, flair, and circus magic! This year’s event is circus-themed, and we invite you to get paid to have a blast and mingle with our amazing donors. What could be better than that? This is a unique chance to bring your teamwork spirit to life – we can’t wait to see you there!

A Few Things to Know About Working the Gala:

Shift Time: 4:30-7:30 pm (or 4-10 pm for stage leads) on Saturday, April 26, at the Ballroom at Bayou Place, 500 Texas Avenue, in Downtown Houston. Note: If this shift conflicts with your regular work hours or if you are non-exempt and need to adjust your schedule to avoid overtime, please seek approval from your supervisor.
How to Mark This on Your Timesheet: Please ask your Supervisor if you have any Q about how to record your time. All time worked at the gala is on the clock.
Guest Arrivals: VIP guests arrive at 6 pm, general admission at 7 pm, with gala doors opening at 7:30 pm.
Special Acknowledgement: Please join us in the ballroom by 7:40 pm for Avery’s recognition of all our incredible staff.
After Your Shift: Enjoy the gala festivities or take a breather in the lounge area.
Attire: Casual cocktail or feel free to dress up in your most creative circus costume. Please wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to stand for long periods.
Meals: Enjoy a selection of light refreshments in the lounge area, just for you. While we can’t offer the full gala meal at $80 per guest, we hope you’ll enjoy this tasty option to keep you energized for an amazing evening!
After Party: Don’t miss the after-party from 10 pm to 12 am – we’d love to celebrate with you!
Parking: The Center will cover parking costs. Details to be announced.
