LGBTQ+ individuals and working people in Houston face numerous attacks. Gender-affirming care for tens of thousands of transgender people has been swept away, and there is a wave of anti-LGBTQ+ legislation in Texas and nationwide. Now more than ever, we must build community movements to advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and the reforms that working people need, such as universal healthcare and affordable housing.
