World AIDS Day • December 1

Please join us in observing World AIDS Day 2012.

Throughout December • Paper Chain of Remembrance
Now in its 10th year, we welcome the community to create their own links to add to our chain with messages of hope, healing, love, and remembrance. The paper chain hangs in The Montrose Center 2nd floor lobby area throughout the month of December.
December 1 • 10am – 12pm in Rooms 106/107
Treatment as Prevention: Is It Time for Action?

This presentation will focus on the timely and important issue of anti-retroviral therapy (ART) as a prevention intervention and will be of interest to clinicians, researchers, program managers and policy makers. The opportunities and challenges implicit in this approach will be presented by various speakers, each bringing a different perspective on the issue. Together, the session participants will define a path to move forward a prevention agenda that incorporates treatment and take into account programmatic, clinical and ethical issues. Please feel free to bring your own breakfast, lunch or snack to the presentation. Continuing education units are not offered for these sessions; however, certificates of attendance will be provided. All sessions are open to the general public, however we do ask that you register online here.
