Tell Us Your Story!

Your story is the story of Montrose Counseling Center. It takes a lot of courage to ask for help, and by sharing your story, you may inspire others who are going through a rough time. We hope they’ll find a connection through the very real perspectives you bring. Please visit MyStory.MontroseCounselingCenter.org to let us know what a difference MCC has made in your life. Your case manager or therapist can help if you’re not comfortable writing your story. You can do it in your own words. That’s what we’re looking for, and we don’t need and won’t collect any of identifying information. No one reading will know who you are. Want to see an example of how powerful a personal story is? Read this article in our April Newsletter.

If you would like to tell your story in person, we invite you to be a part of our first testimonial recording session, scheduled for Thursday, May 19, between 3 and 7 p.m. in Room 106 of the GLBT Cultural Center on the 1st Floor of MCC, 401 Branard. We aren’t looking for anything fancy, just your story in your own words. Please let your therapist or case manager know that you’d like to participate, or contact our Community Projects Specialist at 713.800.0811 to Rsvp.
