The EMBody (Empowering Mind & Body) Integrated Care program offers a variety of services for individuals seeking a whole-health approach to wellness and recovery, emphasizing screening and preventive care for a variety of common health conditions in addition to accessing traditional behavioral health services and engaging in regular health-boosting activities. The program is designed to assist uninsured, under-insured, and under-served primarily LGBTQ individuals, particularly those recovering from substance abuse and/or serious mental illness, to access primary care at Legacy Community Health Services in addition to their behavioral/mental health care at the Montrose Center.
EMBody is a pilot program funded by US Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
