Film Screening: Loud Love
An Uplifting Story of Family, Resilience, and Pride
RESERVATIONS REQUIRED
In collaboration with Alexander Jewish Family Services (JFS), the Montrose Center presents a screening of Loud Love, a moving documentary that follows deaf gay couple Alan and Brian as they navigate the challenges and triumphs of building a family through international surrogacy. Despite ongoing prejudice, their story is one of strength, vulnerability, and deep love—as they raise two hearing children and redefine what family means.
This intimate and inspiring film explores the intersections of queerness, disability, and parenthood with honesty and heart. Whether you’re a parent, an advocate, or simply someone who believes in love in all its forms, this story of the family we choose and create is sure to resonate.
