Get active for a good cause! Montrose Counseling Center is excited to invite you to participate in the Houston Walk for Mental Health Awareness on October 15, 2011. Participants can walk, ride bikes, and even bring their dogs.
All registration fees and funds raised at the event will go to local non-profit agencies that provide mental health services, including Montrose Counseling Center. If you’d like to participate, register at the MCC Team Fundraising Page. Registration is $25, and all funds raised will go to your designated beneficiary.
The 5K walk will begin at the Stude Park Community Center (1031 Stude St.) at 8:00 a.m. sharp and end at the same location at noon with a Mental Health Expo featuring exhibits, entertainment, and refreshments. For more information, or if you’d like to purchase an MCC t-shirt to wear at the event, please contact Volunteer Specialist Megan Caldwell at 713.529.0037 x395.
