On January 31, AIDS Community Research Initiative of America is coming to Houston to gather information about how senior service providers and HIV/AIDS service organizations may work together to provide optimal care. They’ll be back in February to host a two-day training, but first they want to assess the landscape and meet the people who work in this field.
From 9 a.m. – 11 a.m., ACRIA will host a Community Meeting to introduce themselves and find out what our strengths and challenges are, including obstacles and barriers we face in serving seniors with HIV. The meeting is open to everyone who works with seniors, everyone who works with adults who are HIV positive, and any interested community members. Breakfast will be served at 8:30 a.m. if you want to arrive a little before the two-hour program begins. Rsvp to Hanna Tessema with ACRIA.
