Thirty two years ago on December 18, Montrose Counseling Center opened its doors at a modest office space on Lovett Boulevard. The founders of MCC could not have known back in 1978 that they spearheaded a movement that would have grown as much as we have, serving hundreds of thousands of people, and becoming the largest openly-GLBT organization serving the Houston area. We are very proud of our history and invite you to read some of the highlights of these last three decades.
