The Montrose Center is invested in making this city better for lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transgender persons, persons living with HIV and all our allies.

Remember before Thanksgiving turned into a consumer-palooza with Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday? Somewhere along the way, an idea was borne to add a day of charitable giving. We like to say it’s time to gay it forward.

Providing meals for LGBT seniors • getting LGBT youth who are homeless off the street • holding a the hand of a hate crime victim when they have to file a police report or go to the hospital • helping someone learn new coping skills as they overcome addiction • channeling your wellness through activities such as yoga, meditation, walking, etc. • giving you support groups so that above all, you know that you are not alone • and so very much more.

This is just a snapshot. There’s something for everyone at the Montrose Center.
