About the Training Institute
Launched in 2026 to serve as a central hub for the Montrose Center’s various education opportunities. The Training Institute brings unparalleled expertise to LGBTQ-affirming and accessible education. As Texas’s first Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) since 2016, we combine decades of direct service experience with recognized excellence in behavioral health delivery. Our credentials include:
- Joint Commission Accreditation since 2003 for quality and commitment to exemplary service
- Behavioral Health Home designation since 2015
- 48 years of continuous behavioral health service to the Houston community
- 50+ strategic collaborations with organizations across Harris County

About Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
The Montrose Center Training Institute is approved to offer continuing education units (CEUs) for a range of social work, counseling, and community health professions. Please note that we are not currently able to provide CEUs for medical professionals.
