Please Welcome Suzanne Mobarak to the Montrose Center!

Please say Ahlan wa Sahlan! /(Hello!) to Suzanne Mobarak, LMSW:
the new Hatch Youth Services Specialist at the Montrose Center.

As a previous Hatch small group volunteer, Suzanne has joined the team as the lead of the Hatch Youth Drop-In Center with knowledge of how the program works. She has also spent time as a petrophysicist and as a math teacher, but is proud to return to her social work training in order to join the Montrose Center.

This social work and education superstar is also a Coog; she received her Masters of Social Work at the University of Houston! Suzanne values kindness, thoughtfulness, and people who are good at things she stinks at. She is a skilled presenter and group facilitator with a strong desire to advocate for marginalized populations.

Suzanne spends her free time acting in community theaters, starting but not finishing crochet projects, reading fantasy novels, and volunteering with Learning Ally recording audio textbooks for the visually impaired. For years her dream role was to play the Wicked Witch of the West in The Wizard of Oz, which she had the chance to do the Theatre Coppell last spring!  Her new dream is to be a real person on Sesame Street.

Please join us in welcoming Suzanne to the team!
