"Just Bob" Hergenroeder

He calls himself “Just Bob,” and indeed, that’s what is on his parking space. He’s also Montrose Counseling Center’s new Operations & Prevention Director. Since 1996, Bob has gone by many titles at MCC, including student intern, therapist, case management program coordinator, and chemical dependency treatment program coordinator. He has spread his wings and gone on to work at other nonprofit organizations, but he’s always worked with us at least part-time because he feels so strongly about MCC’s mission. On April 1, he took over his new position. “I remember back when, as an intern, I had to share a computer with the Executive Director,” says Bob as he talks about his first years at MCC, nodding to our long-held reputation of fiscal responsibility. Director Ann J. Robison, PhD, says Bob’s unbroken tenure affords him a way of looking at the agency from a unique vantage point that makes him ideal for this new leadership position. “In this new role, I not only have every confidence in him but know that his dedication and loyalty to MCC, his demeanor and his pragmatism will contribute to our stability and enable us to continue growing.”
