Our free Support Group Series ended on July 24, 2024, but our therapists are still available.

If You Need Financial Support for Recovery
LGBTQIA+ Fund for Hurricane Beryl Recovery
The Montrose Center has activated the LGBTQIA+ Fund for Hurricane Beryl Recovery and is now accepting applications for support from the fund. Funding is limited and based on need. Please allow a few days for the Center to process applications. We may limit the number of applications submitted to ensure availability of funds.
If You Need SNAP, WIC and Food Assistance
The Texas Department of Health and Human Services has extended SNAP and WIC benefits to include the cost of replacing lost food. Visit their website to learn more and apply for benefits.

FEMA Applications for Assistance Now Open
Visit the disasterassistance.gov to learn more and apply for up to $700 in emergency assistance, along with other federal support for Hurricane Beryl. The application takes about 30 minutes. If you need assistance with your application, reach out to your Montrose Center representative by email.
If You Need Unemployment Assistance
The counties in the Greater Houston Area are eligible for disaster unemployment assistance. The Montrose Center can help you with applying or you can apply online at the Texas Workforce Commission website.
If You Need a Small Business Loan
Apply for a low-interest disaster loan for your business at the U.S. Small Business Administration.
