| Program Overview Trans Day of Remembrance (TDOR) is an annual observance honoring the trans and gender-diverse lives lost to violence and discrimination. In 2025, Pride Houston 365 will host a Virtual Vigil & Healing Circle — a trauma-informed, community-led event for collective reflection, remembrance, and resilience. The program unites the LGBTQIA+ community and allies in a space of dignity, empathy, and solidarity. Purpose & Intent • Honor those lost and affirm the value of every trans life. • Provide trauma-informed, accessible space for healing and reflection. • Uplift trans-led voices, facilitators, and organizations in Houston. • Educate the public on advocacy, safety, and systemic change. • Demonstrate Pride Houston’s year-round commitment to inclusion beyond Pride Month. This event is both remembrance and resistance — an act of care that sustains community resilience. |
