Safe and Seen: A Migrant Justice Training* – 107

August 30 @ 10:30 am 4:30 pm

“Safe and Seen: A Migrant Justice Training for Public Leaders,” is a powerful half-day workshop designed for leaders who work closely with migrant students, families, and communities. This event is hosted by our Texas Refugee and Migrant Rights Task Force.

This workshop is designed for folks who are central to creating safe, supportive, and inclusive environments, especially for migrant community members navigating the complexities of immigration. At a time when immigrant communities in Texas are facing increased threats, fear, and barriers to access, informed leadership is more important than ever.

This training will provide leaders with practical tools, insight, and informed strategies to help ensure your school is a place where students can feel more seen, safe, and supported. Ideal attendees are school staff, librarians, healthcare workers, social workers, small business owners, and anyone who is passionate for advocating for migrants in their community.
