Everyone is welcome at the Montrose Center’s Pride in Your Health Fair – a fun-filled day celebrating LGBTQ+ health and wellness! This FREE event is open to all ages and brings together everything you need for better health under one roof. Start with an energizing 9 AM Community Walk through Houston’s historic Gayborhood (first 25 participants get free swag bags!), then explore health services, enjoy food trucks, and enter to win amazing prizes including a bicycle from Academy Sports + Outdoors!
Whether you need health screenings, vaccinations, nutrition tips, or just want to enjoy a vibrant community gathering, there’s something for everyone. From Kona Ice treats for families to free Dutch Bros coffee for adults, plus specialized services for seniors – discover that taking care of your health can be full of pride!
Please note: the Community Walk begins at 9:00AM at the Center and will return to the Center by 10:00AM for the Health Fair. All other activities begin after 10:00AM.
Fun Activities for All Ages
- 9:00 AM Community Walk with FIT Houston – Morning fitness walk through Houston’s Historic Gayborhood (first 25 participants get FREE swag bags & water bottles!)
- FREE Health Screenings – Blood pressure checks and biometric screenings all day – no appointment needed!
- Mobile Vaccination Clinic – Houston Health Department will provide free, convenient vaccinations
- Educational Presentations:
- Heart health tips
- Nutrition hacks for the whole family
- LGBTQ+ Health Panel – Open discussion in a welcoming, supportive environment
- Free HIV & STI Testing – Confidential services from 10 AM – 2 PM
- Resource Fair & Raffle – Visit community organizations, collect stamps, enter to win prizes!
- Grand Prize Drawing – Win a bicycle from Academy Sports + Outdoors and more!
- Food & Refreshments – Kindred Kitchen food truck, Kona Ice treats, FREE Dutch Bros coffee & tea
