The CORE Training is a prerequisite training for Mental Health Peer Specialist and Recovery Support Peer Specialist trainings. It is an introduction to Peer Support Services and lays the foundation for peers to move forward into the RSPS and MHPS trainings. Lived experience with substance use challenges and recovery is required and/or lived experience with mental health challenges and recovery. 19.5 total hours for certification.
