Book Club Meeting- Black Sapphic Book Club* – 114

December 7 @ 11:00 am 1:30 pm

Join the Black Sapphic Book Club (BSBC) for our very first in-person gathering, a cozy afternoon of connection and conversation centered on Where There’s Smoke by Aricka Alexander.

We’ll share light refreshments, laughter, and reflections on love, healing, and desire through a Black queer lens. Then, we’ll welcome author Aricka Alexander for a live virtual Q&A, where she’ll discuss her creative process, her characters, and the stories that inspire her.

This event marks the beginning of BSBC’s journey to create safe, joyful spaces for Black queer readers and storytellers in Houston. Whether you’ve been following along online or you’re joining for the first time, come as you are, curious, open, and ready to be surrounded by books and community.
