All Welcome Here: A Justice Training for Public Leaders* – 106, 111, 114
August 2 @ 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Join us for a full-day training designed for public leaders, frontline staff, and community servants who work with immigrant community members in their daily roles. In this critical moment, we believe safety is a collective responsibility. We are calling on those in positions of public trust to deepen their understanding and strengthen their tools to support and protect our most vulnerable neighbors.
This training will offer practical strategies for creating safer, more accessible spaces for immigrant community members across systems and institutions. Through interactive workshops, scenario-based learning, and expert facilitation, participants will gain knowledge on:
-Legal protections and rights for undocumented individuals
-Best practices for confidentiality, documentation, and avoiding cooperation with harmful enforcement
-Trauma-informed and culturally responsive approaches to service provision
-Wellness and community building in precarious times
Whether you are a librarian, healthcare worker, city official, educator, housing provider, or other public servant, this training will equip you with the tools and insights to lead with justice, compassion, and care. Together, we can build systems that truly serve all of us with no exceptions.
Let’s create communities where undocumented people are not only safe, but also seen, heard, and protected.
