A very successful first (annual?) LGBTQ Youth Summit was held in the GLBT Cultural Center to inspire youth to create change in their schools and become leaders through the formation and strengthening of gay-straight alliances. The summit was sponsored by Montrose Counseling Center, Texas GSA Network, GLSEN Houston, U of H Urban Talent Research Institute, and made possible with the generous support of The Diana Foundation.
