DESCRIPTION:Refuge Recovery is an addiction recovery program based on Buddhist teachings and principles. Refuge Recovery takes a non-theistic\, community-oriented\, and peer-led approach\, using mindfulness and meditation techniques as well as the Four Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path\, to heal from substance and process addictions.  The program does not require participants to be Buddhist\, but encourages them to trust the process and practice compassion\, forgiveness\, and honesty. This group is a safe recovery space for the queer community. \n\n\n\nJ.
