DESCRIPTION:Refuge Recovery is an addiction recovery program based on Buddhist teachings and principles. Refuge Recovery takes a non-theistic\, community-oriented\, and peer-led approach\, using mindfulness and meditation techniques as well as the Four Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path\, to heal from substance and process addictions.  The program does not require participants to be Buddhist\, but encourages them to trust the process and practice compassion\, forgiveness\, and honesty. This group is a safe recovery space for the queer community.J. DESCRIPTION:To help unify the LGBTQIA+ community and get work done in our local communities\, we have decided to launch the Throwing Light Together Tour for Fall 2025 in Texas! \n\n\n\nThe FOURTH panel will be held at The Montrose Center on Saturday\, November 15th at 5:30pm! \n\n\n\nThe Together Tour is essentially live community panels\, each\, for an hour with questions at the end. The panels will consist of a mix of local business owners\, titleholders\, community activists\, and members of each city’s community. \n\n\n\nThe panel topic of these grave discussions will be greatly about how to move forward together as unified front as the challenges we face become more difficult. These are solution-focused discussions.
