DESCRIPTION:Houston Autistic Adults is a peer-led community group that exists to create safe\, supportive\, and affirming spaces for autistic adults\, with intentional focus on LGBTQ autistic individuals. Many of our members are LGBTQ\, and our gatherings are designed with the understanding that being both autistic and LGBTQ often comes with unique challenges around belonging\, acceptance\, and access to community. \n\n\n\nOur mission is to foster connection\, reduce isolation\, and build community for autistic adults through peer support\, social opportunities\, and mutual understanding.
