| With the Texas Legislature back in session, our rights have never been more threatened! We know the path to change is to elect legislators that support our values. The next election is May 6 (local) with the general election November 7. The deadline to register voters to vote is 30 days prior to Election Day. Voter turnout is typically low in non-presidential elections, so votes count even more and it’s local elections that have the most impact to our daily lives! What can we do? Register voters with emphasis on getting out the vote! Become a Volunteer Deputy Voter Registrar by taking a one hour training class.
