The Gay Liberation Extravaganza Forum

The Gay Liberation Extravaganza Forum is a safe, fun, informative, healing and welcoming space for everyone within the community and allies.
This event comes around every 3 months and it is to help and guide the community through the ins and outs of self luv. Research has shown that societal stigma and stereotypes can have a negative impact on self-esteem, mental and physical health, education attainment and job performance within our (LGBTQIA+) community.
The aim of this forum is to educate participants in the community and allies on how to obtain the love that we all need and deserve. That love that we all need is the love of our own selves. This forum will empower you and give you the tools and resources needed to effectively address stigmas, self-love, coming out, self-esteem and so much more. In addition, we will open the space for dialogue and answer any questions that there may be.
This month’s subject is “Forming a relationship with yourself”. The event is suitable for anyone who wants to learn more about the LGBT community, their experiences, feelings and perspectives.
