Safety for the Transgender Community – 112/113

Transgender individuals and communities experience high amounts of violence and discrimination. According to the UCLA school of law, we are over four times as likely to experience violence or threats of violence than cisgender individuals and far less likely to have access to resources to address or alleviate this violence against us.
