2024 Out for Good Staff Participation

Thank you for your interest in being a part of October 5’s Out for Good Gala! We are absolutely delighted to have you join us for this unforgettable event. It’s an incredible opportunity to come together as a team and for our valued donors to connect with you and learn more about the fantastic work you do every day.

A Few Things to Know About Working the Gala:

Shift Time: 5-8 pm on Saturday, October 5, with some lead roles needed 4-8pm, at the Marriott Marquis Houston, 1777 Walker St in Downtown Houston.
How to Mark This on Your Timesheet: Please ask your Supervisor if you have any Q about how to mark this time in Continuum. All time worked at the gala is on the clock.
Guest Arrivals: VIP guests arrive at 6 pm, general admission at 7 pm, with gala doors opening at 7:30 pm.
Special Acknowledgement: Please join us in the ballroom by 7:40 pm for Avery’s recognition of all our incredible staff.
After Your Shift: Enjoy the gala festivities or take a breather in the lounge area.
Attire: Business casual in black, white, or a combination of both. Feel free to wear cocktail attire if you prefer, but it’s not required. Please wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to stand for long periods.
Meals: A vendor meal will be provided in the lounge area just for you! While we aren’t able to provide the full gala meal due to its cost of $135 per guest, we hope you’ll enjoy this specially prepared option.
After Party: Don’t miss the after-party from 10 pm to 12 am – we’d love to celebrate with you!
Parking: The Center will cover parking costs at the Marriott Marquis Houston at 1777 Walker St. Details to be announced.
